As part of the overall experience of the Nordic pavilion in Osaka for the World Expo 2025, we collaborated with the duo Sindri Már Sigfússon (Sin Fang) and Kjartan Hólm to produce a soundtrack for the central art experience in the exhibition.
The goal was to capture the atmosphere and all the seasons of the Nordic countries in a 20-minute musical piece that plays in sync with the visual artwork “The Circle of Trust,” one of the exhibition's pillars.

Sindri Már
Sindri Már has released six studio albums under his Sin Fang moniker and countless collaborations. He was a founding member of Seabear, Gangly and Team Dreams and has composed extensively for other media in the past few years. Emerging in Iceland’s explosive music scene of the early 2000s, almost entirely by accident, this unassuming but uniquely talented artist got his start in the visual arts. Through a homemade EP he made more or less on a whim, he has since been catapulted into international fame, working on everything from his solo project to film scores and commercials.
Kjartan Hólm
Kjartan Hólm is a composer and musician from Reykjavík, Iceland. He's composed scores for films and TV, made music for theatre and dance companies, arranged and written music for a variety of musical groups, and composed music for video games. Kjartan frequently works with progressive treatment of tonal material, which shows in his works. He is an avid researcher on noise and its effect on the body and brain, and has a bachelor's degree in classical compositions.
