CG / 3D Generalist

Due to the growing emphasis on R&D and new creative projects we at Gagarin are looking for an ambitious and experienced 3D Generalist to join the Gagarin team.


The Generalist works closely with the designers, creative director, and lead programmers of the company. He/she will be responsible for planning and researching the tools and techniques to be used for diverse animation challenges. Furthermore, the Generalist will also participate in creating two- and three-dimensional models, animation, and visual effects for specific projects and solutions.

These are among the qualities we are looking for:

+ Good understanding and interest in art and animation pipelines.

+ Good knowledge of Adobe Suite ( Photoshop, Illustrator, After effects )

+ Be familiar with Unity3D real-time development or other game engines

+ Experience and knowledge in 3D animation and VFX, using programs like 3Dmax, Houdini, and/or Blender.

+ Proficiency with the entire 3d workflow; from modeling and rigging to shading and game-engine optimization

+ Willingness to embrace new ideas, techniques, and methods

+ Able to produce results efficiently and independently as well as collaboratively working within teams.

+ Outstanding team working skills


+ Experience with shader authoring

+ Scripting experience e.g. Python, C#

+ Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and conversions.
